The BQ-CC55 is called a BQ-CC55U when it has a 3-pin UK plug, this charger does have a UK plug.
(The BQ-CC55E has a European 2-pin plug)
You can charge a single battery or up to four at one time.
When you first insert some rechargeable batteries the LED's light green from right to left for about 3 seconds before charging begins.
The Panasonic batteries that come with this particular model are Eneloop Pro AA 2500mAh NiMH rechargeable batteries.
